St Peter's heading to Kerry!!

St Peters are making club history this year by attending the very prestigious Paidi O Se Comortas Peile, now celebrating Its successful  25th year.  St Peters will be contesting for the Billy Casey Cup in the junior division of this competition. The competition has grown from strength to strength with over 50 Teams expected to participate this Year.

The Comortas is an invitational Ladies and Men's Gaa tournament due to take place from the 21st - 23rd of February across the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry.  The tournament was founded by Paidi o Shea the legendary Irish Gael, winner of 8 all Ireland medals as a player and 2 as a manager, This year being the 25th anniversary should prove not only to be a great celebration of Gaelic Games but also a great tribute to Paidi's life and times.

This first invitation has been met enthusiastically by the St Peter's players and management, with a strong squad of 20+ already confirmed to travel .  Could all remaining club members who are yet to Confirm contact Managers Barry (07818013046) Or Sean  (07850733923) ASAP as flight spots are filling up fast.

Travel arrangements are flying Friday Morning from liverpool, and returning Sunday evening.   The Club are helping to keep Costs to a minimum thanks to our hugely successful club lotto. Huge credit must go to the team behind the scenes at St Peters that have worked tirelessly to establish this and everyone contributing with ticket sales.

There is a great website providing more information of the tournament as well as a book of condolences we,  St peters Gac would wish all club Patrons could acknowledge.
